Highlights/Duties of this opportunity:
Potential starting salary range: $200,000-$235,000 per year
Permanent full-time position
Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:30a.m.-4:00p.m. or Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.
Performs and records history and physical examinations and records data from clinic visits.
Enters progress notes in computerized medical records and completes workload documentation in a timely manner.
Provides timely follow-up on results, including completion of view alerts.
Completes Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ) to provide medical information for C&P disability examinations, as requested by VBA, in support of disability claims adjudication.
Completes C&P disability examinations, following established process/procedure as outlined in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) office of Disability and Medical Assessment (DMA) Compensation and Pension (C&P) Disability examinations Procedure Manual.

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is the largest integrated health care system in the United States, providing care at 1,321 health care facilities, including 172 VA Medical Centers and 1,138 outpatient sites of care of varying complexity (VHA outpatient clinics) to over 9 million Veterans enrolled in the VA health care program.
