We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN physician with a strong background in women’s health to join our team and care for our diverse in-patient population. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with the department Chair and Program Director to develop a dynamic resident training clinical practice, fulfill OB/GYN Residency Program requirements, and contribute to administrative, clinical, and academic services.
You will also play an active role in graduate medical education, working with fellows, residents, and medical students through lectures, preceptorship, and small group teaching. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, and referring patients; conducting unit rounds; supervising residents; and providing after-hours and weekend on-call coverage.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
Completion of OB/GYN residency or fellowship training certified by ABMS
Current New York State medical license with at least 2 years of relevant work experience
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Strong familiarity with competency-based curriculum for residency training
Current ACLS/BCLS certifications and DEA registration
Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
